Allied Instructional Services (AIS) is committed to improving the outcomes of the blind, visually impaired, deaf-blind, deaf, and hard of hearing population. Recognizing the critical shortage of trained professionals, and the reduction of statewide services to meet the unique needs of the impaired individual, AIS is continually looking for high quality teachers for the blind and visually impaired, orientation & mobility instructors, teachers of the hearing impaired, specialists in deaf-blindness. All candidates must be able to perform the essential job duties as identified and meet minimum qualification requirements for the position as advertised.

Duties: To provide high quality services as a teacher of the visually impaired and/or orientation and mobility specialist.
Qualifications: Minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree from accredited college or university. Hold or be eligible for O&M Certification. Hold a Valid Teaching License issued by a Board of Education with endorsement in VI. Experience preferred.
Internship opportunities available with stipends.
